The tenth sufferer within the devastating Fall River fireplace on July 13 was recognized on Monday, the native district lawyer introduced. 

Halina Lawler, 70, was recognized by Bristol County District Lawyer Thomas M. Quinn III because the remaining deceased sufferer from the hearth at Gabriel Assisted Residing Facility. 

The fireplace claimed the lives of 10 individuals, all of whom have now been publicly recognized

Lawler’s identification comes after the DA initially incorrectly reported on July 17 that Brenda Cropper, 66, was the tenth sufferer after a “miscommunication” with a medical company. Cropper was hospitalized following the blaze, however succumbed to her accidents July 18, officers in the end mentioned.

Lawler’s id was initially withheld from the general public till her household was notified, officers mentioned, bringing the overall variety of recognized victims to 10.

The investigation of the hearth is energetic and persevering with by the Bristol County District Lawyer’s Workplace and State Police alongside Fall River Hearth and Police Departments, officers mentioned.
