Boston Police report officers responding to a name for a loud celebration at 50 Burt St. in Dorchester Friday evening noticed one visitor leap over a fence into the yard of a home on Bailey Avenue.
At roughly 10:21 PM, Officers responded to a report of a giant, loud celebration on the residence and noticed a number of people, many showing to be underage, consuming alcohol outdoors the property. Further items had been requested to help with dispersing the gang and conducting an additional investigation.
Whereas officers had been clearing the realm, a 17-year-old male was noticed by Officers on Bailey Avenue as he jumped a fence into a close-by yard. His habits appeared evasive and hurried. Upon noticing the Officers, the suspect modified his demeanor and tried to stroll away casually.
Police say they caught up with and stopped the teenager outdoors a Bailey Avenue home immediately behind the home at 50 Burt St.:
In the course of the investigation, a firearm was recovered within the yard he had simply exited. The suspect was taken into custody with out incident.
District B-3 Detectives responded and secured the firearm, which was recognized as a black 9mm Canik Century Arms semi-automatic pistol. The weapon was outfitted with a large-capacity journal containing seven dwell rounds, together with one spherical chambered. The firearm’s serial quantity had been intentionally obliterated.
