READING, MASS. (WHDH) – Studying police are trying to find a carjacker after a person mentioned he was dragged by somebody who stole his automotive whereas he was pumping fuel on Saturday night time.
Officers responding to a reported automotive theft on the Shell on Foremost Road round 6:30 p.m. decided the person was pumping fuel into their 2022 Vary Rover Sport when a suspect pulled up in a Chevy Malibu that had been reported stolen out of Maine and hopped into the car, in response to Studying Police Chief David Clark.
The sufferer, a 49-year-old Studying man, held onto the mirror of his car because the suspect fled the fuel station parking zone. He was dragged by the fleeing car for roughly 20 toes. The sufferer was transported to Lahey Hospital & Medical Heart with unknown accidents.
The Vary Rover has Massachusetts plates, 4JGX91. Police imagine the car fled Massachusetts and could also be in Connecticut or New York.
